Lecia Ductan is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in program management, communications, and event production, with a strong foundation in communications and media management. She has over 10 years of experience in higher education where she mentored students, developed academic programs, and enhanced the social media visibility for NYU students.
Prior to this role, Lecia coordinated diversity, equity, and inclusion programming for the Open Hardware Creators in Academia Fellowship Program, and NYU academic programs. She also contributed to the success of NYU’s Agent-Based Modeling Lab by directing the budget, planning international conferences, and boosting engagement through social media strategies.
With a unique background in event production, including internships at America’s Most Wanted and C-SPAN. She holds an MBA in Media Management and Communications from Fordham University and a BA in Communications from Howard University.
