Kimberly is an independent roboticist with a background in aerial robotics and embedded systems. With Dutch and American roots, she is currently based in Malmö, Sweden. She completed her PhD in swarm robotics in 2019 and worked with the Aerial Robot Crazyflie at Bitcraze until 2024. She is also an experienced speaker at conferences and podcasts, and have occasionally lectured and mentored students. Presently, she is a self-employed robotics engineer consultant and active in multiple project within the ROS (Robotic Operating System).
