Streamed virtually on YouTube. Virtual and in person tickets here! Our full speaker workshop, and demo schedules can be found here.

The Open Hardware Summit is the annual conference organized by the Open Source Hardware Association a 501(c)(3) not for profit charity. It is the world’s first comprehensive conference on open hardware; a venue and community in which we discuss and draw attention to the rapidly growing Open Source Hardware movement.

For our first year back in person after the chaos of the ongoing COVID pandemic we are excited to have two days of open source hardware talks and workshops.

We've got a Hardware Happy Hour run by Helen Leigh on Thursday night for any early arrivers.

Kicking off the day with a keynote from Dr. Carlotta Berry and robotics in the streets before we move into day one. We have Anastasia Pistofidou speaking on her Little Wool Factory, Amy Wibowo showing all the ways we can put the personal back into personal computers, Senja Jarva discussing 10 type of electronic textile projects she wishes were OSHWA certified, and Richard Lin on stealing great ideas.

Then you can find us dancing it out at NYC Resistor for the social!

Day two we start with Manu Prakash's frugal science work, plus Laurel Cummings on developing your technological go-bag, Bardley Gawthrop's ergonomic bootcamp, Zsuzsa Marka on expanding the Open Source Ecosystem in Large Academic Collaborations. We'll also have a few hours dedicated to an unconference with topics suggested by YOU!

You can also sign up for workshops like making the PlanktoScope, upcycling toys for Bubblepunk, making Kolam antenna's, and soldering your own cat-shaped USB hacking tool.

It's going to be an incredible year and we can't wait to see you all in New York.
